• The location of an examination is normally at a training company after an accredited course. Certainly, the exams are also offered publicly. You can find those dates on this website.

• ISTQB Foundation Level examination is 60 minutes plus 15 minutes for non-native speakers.

• Single ISTQB Advanced Level examination is 180 minutes, plus 45 minutes (25%) for non-native speakers.

• Full ISTQB Advanced Level examination of all 3 modules is 540 (i.e. 3 x 180) minutes, plus 135 minutes (25%) for non-native speakers. There is a 30 minute break between each examination.

• The examination has the form of a multiple-choice test. There is only one correct answer to each question. Please bring a valid photo ID with you for the exam.

It is possible to fail the examination. If you fail it is possible to repeat the examination.
